The leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has called on people from the East, West and Middle-belt to join the group.
Nnamdi Kanu made the call on Tuesday during a live broadcast on Radio Biafra London which was monitored by EBONYI DAILY NEWS correspondent in a reaction to the presidential and National Assembly elections.
According to the pro-Biafra leader, the votes did not count during the election and thus people from the South and middle-belt must join the Biafran struggle.
In addition, he alleged that Nigeria’s present composition is unworkable and thus a separation of the country is the only way out of the struggle.
President Muhammadu Buhari was on Wednesday declared the winner of the 2019 elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (Inec).
Buhari beat Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to emerge winner of the election.
